TL;DR: It is proposed that these excited superdeformed bands are based on single-proton excitation from the (301)1/2 orbital into the (651)3/2 intruder orbital and thus they are the first obsrevation of proton excitations in super deformed nuclei.

TL;DR: The gamma decay of excited states in the waiting-point nucleus Cd-130(82) has been observed for the first time as discussed by the authors, showing no evidence of an N=82 shell quenching at Z = 48.

TL;DR: In this paper, three superdeformed bands have been observed in 194Hg and the dynamical moment of inertia of all three bands is observed to increase by 30-40% over the frequency range ħω = 0.1-0.4 MeV.

TL;DR: From the statistical-model analysis, it is deduced that the GDR strength is consistent with 100% of the energy-weighted sum rule, and this value is not very different from the one measured at ${E}^{\mathrm{*}}$=130 MeV, thus pointing to saturation effects in the damping of theGDR.

Gender differences in balance performance at the time of retirement.
TL;DR: Investigation of balance performance in people approaching retirement age found no differences in static balance performance between men and women of retirement age, but a number of participants demonstrated balance impairments whilst performing the single limb stance likely to affect functional activities.
