TL;DR: In this article, a numerical bound on the feasible space of these exponents is derived, followed by a search operation of this space to determine optimal values, which yields hardness estimates in good conformance with experimental data for numerous binary and ternary ceramic compounds.

TL;DR: In this paper , a model of longitudinal elastic stress wave propagation through a 180° bend junction connecting two square bars is analyzed using analytical and numerical approaches and validated against experiments, and it is concluded that one-dimensional stress wave theory can be used to successfully model the propagation of long-duration longitudinal stress pulses around a 180-degree bend junction.
