Reversed‐Phase High‐Performance Liquid Chromatography with Electrochemical Detection of Anthocyanins

TL;DR: In this paper, a reverse phase HPLC with electrochemical detection (RP•HPLC•ED) was used to detect anthocyanins, flavonoid compounds present in grapes and wines.
Journal ArticleDOI

Atomic force microscopy characterization of synthetic pyrimidinic oligodeoxynucleotides adsorbed onto an HOPG electrode under applied potential

TL;DR: In order to better understand the adsorption mechanism of nucleic acids at electrode surface, MAC Mode atomic force microscopy (MAC Mode AFM) was used in this article to investigate the adaption of a 10-base synthetic oligodeoxynucleotide (ODN) with the sequence 5 -CTTTTTCTTT-3, containing only pyrimidinic bases, onto a highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) electrode.
Journal ArticleDOI

Graphite–castor oil polyurethane composite electrode surfaces – AFM morphological and electrochemical characterisation

TL;DR: In this article, graphite-polyurethane composite electrodes with different graphite weight percentages were morphologically studied by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and voltammetry.
Journal ArticleDOI

A study of the electrochemical oxidation of Navelbine

TL;DR: The search for drugs with cytostatic activity and with better pharmacokinetic features led to the synthesis of Navelbine (5'-noranhydrovinblastine) which is a structural modification of antitumour Vinca alkaloids, which has high liposolubility, a lower toxicity and increased antitumours activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemistry of chemotherapeutic alkylating agents and their interaction with DNA.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors provide an exhaustive review concerning the electrochemical methods of characterization and quantification of different classes of chemotherapeutic alkylating agents (triazenes and hydrazines, nitrosoureas, nitrogen mustards, oxazaphosphorines, alkyls alkane sulfonates and ethylene imines) in standard samples, pharmaceutical formulations and biological matrixes.
