Journal ArticleDOI
Intensified Chemotherapy and Dose-Reduced Involved-Field Radiotherapy in Patients With Early Unfavorable Hodgkin's Lymphoma: Final Analysis of the German Hodgkin Study Group HD11 Trial
Hans Theodor Eich,Volker Diehl,Helen Görgen,Thomas Pabst,Jana Markova,Jürgen Debus,Anthony D. Ho,Bernd Dörken,Andreas Rank,Anca-Ligia Grosu,Thomas Wiegel,Johann H. Karstens,Richard Greil,Normann Willich,Heinz Schmidberger,Hartmut Döhner,Peter Borchmann,Hans Konrad Müller-Hermelink,Rolf-Peter Müller,Andreas Engert +19 more
TL;DR: Moderate dose escalation using BEACOPP(baseline) did not significantly improve outcome in early unfavorable HL, and four cycles of ABVD should be followed by 30 Gy of IFRT.
Journal ArticleDOI
Randomized Phase II Trial of Chemoradiotherapy Plus Induction or Consolidation Chemotherapy as Total Neoadjuvant Therapy for Locally Advanced Rectal Cancer: CAO/ARO/AIO-12
Emmanouil Fokas,Michael Allgäuer,Bülent Polat,Gunther Klautke,Gerhard G. Grabenbauer,Rainer Fietkau,Thomas Kuhnt,Ludger Staib,Thomas Brunner,Thomas Brunner,Anca-Ligia Grosu,Wolff Schmiegel,L. Jacobasch,Jürgen Weitz,G. Folprecht,Anke Schlenska-Lange,Michael Flentje,Christoph-Thomas Germer,Robert Grützmann,Matthias Schwarzbach,Vittorio Paolucci,Wolf O. Bechstein,Tim Friede,Michael Ghadimi,Ralf-Dieter Hofheinz,Claus Rödel +25 more
TL;DR: Up-front CRT followed by chemotherapy resulted in better compliance with CRT but worse compliance with chemotherapy compared with group A, and long-term follow-up will assess whether improved pCR in group B translates to better oncologic outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI
ICRU report 91 on prescribing, recording, and reporting of stereotactic treatments with small photon beams : Statement from the DEGRO/DGMP working group stereotactic radiotherapy and radiosurgery.
L. Wilke,Nicolaus Andratschke,Oliver Blanck,Thomas Brunner,Stephanie E. Combs,Anca-Ligia Grosu,Christos Moustakis,Daniela Schmitt,Wolfgang W. Baus,Matthias Guckenberger +9 more
TL;DR: This extensive publication covers different relevant aspects of stereotactic radiotherapy such as small field dosimetry, accuracy requirements for volume definition and planning algorithms, and the precise application of treatment by means of image guidance.
Journal ArticleDOI
[18F]Galacto-RGD Positron Emission Tomography for Imaging of αvβ3 Expression on the Neovasculature in Patients with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck
Ambros J. Beer,Anca-Ligia Grosu,Janette Carlsen,Andreas Kolk,Mario Sarbia,Isabelle Stangier,Petra Watzlowik,Hans-Jürgen Wester,Roland Haubner,Markus Schwaiger +9 more
TL;DR: Galacto-RGD PET allows for specific imaging of αvβ3 expression in SCCHN with good contrast and image fusion and definition of tumor subvolumes is feasible.
Journal ArticleDOI
An interindividual comparison of O-(2-[18F]fluoroethyl)-L-tyrosine (FET)- and L-[methyl-11C]methionine (MET)-PET in patients with brain gliomas and metastases.
Anca-Ligia Grosu,Anca-Ligia Grosu,Sabrina T. Astner,Eva Riedel,Eva Riedel,Carsten Nieder,Nicole Wiedenmann,Nicole Wiedenmann,Felix Heinemann,Markus Schwaiger,Michael Molls,Hans-Jürgen Wester,Wolfgang Weber,Wolfgang Weber +13 more
TL;DR: O-(2-[(18)F]fluoroethyl)-L-tyrosine-PET and MET-PET provide comparable diagnostic information on gliomas and brain metastases and there was a strong linear correlation between standardized uptake values calculated for both tracers in cortex and lesions.
