Journal ArticleDOI
KLF4 is a Novel Candidate Tumor Suppressor Gene in Pancreatic Ductal Carcinoma
Francesca Zammarchi,Mariangela Morelli,Michele Menicagli,Claudio Di Cristofano,Katia Zavaglia,Alessandra Paolucci,Daniela Campani,Paolo Aretini,Ugo Boggi,Franco Mosca,Andrea Cavazzana,Luca Cartegni,Generoso Bevilacqua,Chiara Maria Mazzanti +13 more
TL;DR: A novel oncosuppressor region located at the 9q 31.1-3 locus that is lost in DPC at high frequency is identified, suggesting a key suppressor role in pancreatic tumorigenesis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long-Term Followup After Elective Testis Sparing Surgery for Leydig Cell Tumors: A Single Center Experience
Gianluca Giannarini,Andrea Mogorovich,Filippo Menchini Fabris,Girolamo Morelli,Maurizio De Maria,Francesca Manassero,Barbara Loggini,Raffaele Pingitore,Andrea Cavazzana,Cesare Selli +9 more
TL;DR: In patients with Leydig cell tumors testis sparing surgery with frozen section examination provides an excellent long-term oncological outcome, and all patients are alive without evidence of disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of low intratumoral gene expression heterogeneity in neuroblastic tumors by genome-wide expression analysis and game theory.
Domenico Albino,Paola Scaruffi,Stefano Moretti,Simona Coco,Mauro Truini,Claudio Di Cristofano,Andrea Cavazzana,Sara Stigliani,Stefano Bonassi,Gian Paolo Tonini +9 more
TL;DR: The authors reported the genome‐wide expression analysis of whole tumors and microdissected Nb and SS cells, showing a variable genetic heterogeneity in neuroblastic tumors.
Journal Article
Lymph-vascular space involvement and outer one-third myometrial invasion are strong predictors of distant haematogeneous failures in patients with stage I-II endometrioid-type endometrial cancer.
Angiolo Gadducci,Andrea Cavazzana,Stefania Cosio,Claudio Di Cristofano,Roberta Tana,Antonio Fanucchi,G Teti,Renza Cristofani,Andrea R. Genazzani +8 more
TL;DR: Multivariate analysis showed that LVSI and deep myometrial invasion were independent predictive variables for the risk of distant haematogeneous failure and patients with these pathological findings should be enrolled in randomised trials designed to assess the role of adjuvant chemotherapy alone or combined with sequential and/or concomitant external pelvic irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of combined DNA-based piezoelectric biosensors for the simultaneous detection and genotyping of high risk Human Papilloma Virus strains
D. Dell'atti,Michele Zavaglia,Sara Tombelli,G Bertacca,Andrea Cavazzana,Generoso Bevilacqua,Maria Minunni,Marco Mascini +7 more
TL;DR: Piezoelectric biosensors have proven to be suitable for detection and genotyping of HPV.
