Intersystem Crossing and Light-Induced Bistability in Iron(?) Spin-Crossover Compounds

TL;DR: The dynamics of the high-spin→low-spin intersystem crossing process in IR spin-crossover compounds are strongly influenced by cooperative effects of elastic origin which are due to the large difference in volume between high spin and low-spin complexes as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Energy transfer between different Eu2+ ions in the white phosphor Ba7F12Cl2:Eu2+

TL;DR: In this paper, the emission spectra of the white phosphor Ba7F12Cl2:Eu2+ were studied as a function of Europium content, excitation wavelength and temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Directional Energy Migration in Nanoparticles of Crystalline Metal Complexes

TL;DR: Size-controlled micro- and nanocry crystals of a [Ru(bpy)3][NaCr(ox)3] coordination network are prepared using reverse micelles and the 2E emission of the Cr(III) ions indicates an efficient directional energy migration toward the surface of the nanocrystals.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Pt(II) complex with both a phenanthroline and a tetrathiafulvalene-extended dithiolate ligand: Synthesis, crystal structure, electrochemical and spectroscopic properties

TL;DR: The reaction of 4,5-bis(2'-cyanoethylsulfanyl)-4',5'-dipropylthiotetrathiafulvalene with Pt(phen)Cl-2 (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) with CsOH as base in CH3OH-THE affords the target complex I in 44% yield as discussed by the authors.
