LOCC protocols with bounded width per round optimize convex functions

TL;DR: In this article, the task of discriminating finitely many multipartite quantum states using LOCC protocols was considered, with the goal to optimize the probability of correctly identifying the state.

PPT pure state transformations and catalysis

TL;DR: In this paper, a necessary and sufficient condition for bipartite pure state transformations by partial transpose operations is given. But it is not shown how to transform a rank K maximally entangled state to an arbitrary pure state assisted by a catalyst.
Journal ArticleDOI

Robustness of quantum Markov chains

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that for tri-partite quantum states the quantum conditional information is always a lower bound for the minimum relative entropy distance to a quantum Markov chain state, but the distance can be much greater; indeed the two quantities can be of different asymptotic order and may even differ by a dimensional factor.

Photophysical Study on the Rigid Pt(II) Complex [Pt(naphen)(Cl)] (Hnaphen = Naphtho[1,2-b][1,10]Phenanthroline and Derivatives

TL;DR: In this paper , the electrochemistry and photophysics of the Pt(II) complexes were studied alongside the complexes of the tetrahydro-derivative [Pt(thnaphen)(X)] and the N^C^N-coordinated complex [P Pt(bdq)(Cl)] (Hbdq = benzo[1,2-h:5,4h']diquinoline).
