Journal ArticleDOI
Optimal Superdense Coding of Entangled States
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a one-shot method for preparing pure entangled states between a sender and a receiver at a minimal cost of entanglement and quantum communication, and showed that there is a reduction in the number of qubits that need to be transmitted when the states to be prepared are entangled.
Journal ArticleDOI
Random quantum codes from Gaussian ensembles and an uncertainty relation
TL;DR: Using random Gaussian vectors and an information-uncertainty relation, this paper showed that the coherent information is an achievable rate for entanglement transmission through a noisy quantum channel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bounds on Entanglement-Assisted Source-Channel Coding via the Lovász $\vartheta $ Number and Its Variants
TL;DR: In this article, a lower bound on the entanglement-assisted zero-error capacity of source-channel coding with side information has been shown in the context of Tsirelson's problem.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hyperbits: the information quasiparticles
Marcin Pawłowski,Andreas Winter +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the hyperbits, the first information quasiparticles, were introduced to simplify complex emergent phenomena making otherwise very difficult calculations possible and providing additional insight into the inner workings of the system.
Journal ArticleDOI
Entropic uncertainty relations - A survey
TL;DR: A review of known results and open questions about entropic uncertainty relations with more than two measurement settings can be found in this article, where the authors also present some open questions.
