Journal ArticleDOI
Development of a space‐charge transport model for ion‐exchange membranes
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-dimensional electrokinetic transport model that incorporates ionic hydration, orientation of solvent molecules by an applied electric field, and solvent dipole-dipole interactions is developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of radiation-grafted membranes for fuel cell electrolytes
TL;DR: In this article, three different backbone polymer structures were studied: low-density poly(styrene), poly(tetrafluoroethylene)/poly(styrenesulphonic acid) copolymer, and poly(Tetraflaminear polyethylene).

Petrophysical Evaluation of Hydrocarbon Pore-Thickness in Thinly Bedded Clastic Reservoirs
Q. R. Passey,K. E. Dahlberg,K. B. Sullivan,H. Yin,R. A. Brackett,Y. H. Xiao,Angel G. Guzman-Garcia +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors conducted research on thin-bed evaluation methods during the years 1995-1998 and developed a set of methods and practices that have been used worldwide by ExxonMobil since then.

Journal ArticleDOI
The response of straight and circular fins to fluid temperature changes
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed analytical expressions to describe the transient response of a straight fin when changes occur in the temperature of the surrounding fluid and showed that the rate of heat removal is not enhanced by subjecting a fin to a periodically changing fluid temperature as opposed to a steady average temperature.
