TL;DR: Strong evidence of linkage of NF1 to the centromeric marker D17Z1 is reported and a weaker suggestion of linkage to the ERBA1 oncogene is reported, both at a recombination fraction of zero.
Journal ArticleDOI
A potential animal model for studying CF heterozygote advantage: genetic variation in theophylline-inducible colonic chloride currents among inbred strains of mice.
TL;DR: Lower theophylline-induced Cl- secretion in the DBA/2J than in the C57BL/6J strain is found and no major component of the variation appeared to be associated with alleles of the met oncogene region of chromosome 6 or the H-2 region of chromosomes 17.
