Journal ArticleDOI
Lymphopenia as a Prognostic Factor for Overall Survival in Advanced Carcinomas, Sarcomas, and Lymphomas
Isabelle Ray-Coquard,Claire Cropet,Martine Van Glabbeke,Catherine Sebban,Axel Le Cesne,Ian Judson,Olivier Tredan,Jaap Verweij,Pierre Biron,Inthidar Labidi,Jean-Paul Guastalla,Thomas Bachelot,David Pérol,Sylvie Chabaud,Pancras C.W. Hogendoorn,Philippe A. Cassier,Armelle Dufresne,Jean-Yves Blay +17 more
TL;DR: Findings show that lymphopenia is an independent prognostic factor for overall and progression-free survival in several cancers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic Factors Influencing Progression-Free Survival Determined From a Series of Sporadic Desmoid Tumors: A Wait-and-See Policy According to Tumor Presentation
Sébastien Salas,Armelle Dufresne,Binh Bui,Jean-Yves Blay,Philippe Terrier,Dominique Ranchère-Vince,Sylvie Bonvalot,Eberhard Stoeckle,Louis Guillou,Axel Le Cesne,Odile Oberlin,Véronique Brouste,Jean-Michel Coindre +12 more
TL;DR: This study clearly demonstrates that there are different prognostic subgroups of desmoid tumors that could benefit from different therapeutic strategies, including a wait-and-see policy.
Journal ArticleDOI
A prognostic nomogram for prediction of recurrence in desmoid fibromatosis
Aimee M. Crago,Brian T. Denton,Sébastien Salas,Armelle Dufresne,James J. Mezhir,Meera Hameed,Mithat Gonen,Samuel Singer,Murray F. Brennan +8 more
TL;DR: A postoperative nomogram including only size, site, and age predicts local recurrence and can aid in advising patients on selecting treatment, as well as aiding in counseling patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
High frequency of β -catenin heterozygous mutations in extra-abdominal fibromatosis: a potential molecular tool for disease management
Julien Domont,Sébastien Salas,Ludovic Lacroix,Véronique Brouste,Patrick Saulnier,P. Terrier,Dominique Ranchère,Agnès Neuville,Agnès Leroux,Louis Guillou,Raf Sciot,F. Collin,Armelle Dufresne,J.-Y. Blay,A. Le Cesne,Coindre Jm,S. Bonvalot,Jean Bénard +17 more
TL;DR: Wild-type β-catenin seems to be an interesting prognostic marker that might be useful in the therapeutic management of extra-abdominal fibromatosis from a large multicentric retrospective study.
Journal ArticleDOI
High mortality rate in cancer patients with symptoms of COVID-19 with or without detectable SARS-COV-2 on RT-PCR.
Souad Assaad,V. Avrillon,Marie Line Fournier,Bénédicte Mastroianni,Bruno Russias,Aurélie Swalduz,Philippe A. Cassier,Lauriane Eberst,Marie Pierre Steineur,Marianne Kazes,Maurice Perol,Anne Sophie Michallet,Philippe Rey,Anne Sophie Erena-Penet,Astrid Morel,Mehdi Brahmi,Armelle Dufresne,Olivier Tredan,Gisèle Chvetzoff,J. Fayette,Christelle De La Fouchardiere,Isabelle Ray-Coquard,Thomas Bachelot,Pierre Saintigny,Mayeul Tabutin,Aurélien Dupré,Emmanuelle Nicolas-Virelizier,Amine Belhabri,Pierre Roux,Christine Fuhrmann,Franck Pilleul,Alexandre Basle,Amine Bouhamama,Christelle Galvez,Andrée Laure Herr,Julien Gautier,Sylvie Chabaud,Philippe Zrounba,D. Perol,Jean-Yves Blay +39 more
TL;DR: The 30-day death rate of cancer patients with or without documented SARS-COV-2 infection is poor, but the majority of deaths occur in RT-PCR negative patients, and none of the treatment given in the previous month correlated with survival.
