Antioxidant response of cowpea co-inoculated with plant growth-promoting bacteria under salt stress
Alexandra de Andrade Santos,Joaquim A. G. Silveira,Aurenivia Bonifacio,Artenisa Cerqueira Rodrigues,Márcia do Vale Barreto Figueiredo +4 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that the combination of Bradyrhizobium and plant growth-promoting bacteria induces positive responses for coping with salt-induced oxidative stress in cowpea nodules, mainly in plants co-inoculated with BradyrHizOBium and P. graminis.
Book ChapterDOI
Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria: Key Mechanisms of Action
Márcia do Vale Barreto Figueiredo,Aurenivia Bonifacio,Artenisa Cerqueira Rodrigues,Fabio Fernando de Araujo +3 more
TL;DR: In this chapter, an understanding of the direct and indirect mechanisms of action of PGPR and their various benefits to plants are summarized and discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Minimization of oxidative stress in cowpea nodules by the interrelationship between Bradyrhizobium sp. and plant growth-promoting bacteria
Artenisa Cerqueira Rodrigues,Aurenivia Bonifacio,Jadson Emanuel Lopes Antunes,Joaquim A. G. Silveira,Márcia do Vale Barreto Figueiredo +4 more
TL;DR: The cowpea plants inoculated and co-inoculated with Bradyrhizobium sp.
Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the biofertilizer "supermagro" applied to soil in liquid form diluted in water in a ratio of 1:4, 30 days before and at intervals of 90 days after planting in absence and presence of potassium applied 60 days after plant and every 60 days subsequently until harvest on the production and mineral nutrition of yellow passion fruit plants (Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa Deg.)
Journal ArticleDOI
Metabolism of nitrogen and carbon: Optimization of biological nitrogen fixation and cowpea development
Artenisa Cerqueira Rodrigues,Joaquim A. G. Silveira,Aurenivia Bonifacio,Márcia do Vale Barreto Figueiredo +3 more
TL;DR: Data revealed that inoculation with Bradyrhizobium sp.
