Externally Activated Antitachycardia Pacemaker With Noninvasive Electrophysiologic Re‐testing Capability
Kazutaka Aonuma,John J. Rozanski,S. Serge Barold,Paul L. Dewitt,Arthur J. Gosselin,John W. Lister +5 more
TL;DR: The form of this device is inadequate for widespread application, but may be useful for highly selected individuals, and may find use in serial noninvasive electrophysiologic testing during long‐term clinical follow‐up.
Journal ArticleDOI
Treatment of supraventricular tachycardias by right atrial alternating current stimulation.
John W. Lister,Stephen J. Gulotta,J.Walter Keller,Alfred L. Aronson,Peter P. Tarjan,David A. Nathan,Arthur J. Gosselin +6 more
TL;DR: In 6 patients with Supraventricular tachycardias, induction of atrial fibrillation by alternating current stimulation of the right atrium was found to be an effective and safe method for terminating these arrhythmias or slowing the ventricular rate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Engineering aspects of cardiac pacemaking
Journal ArticleDOI
Intrahisian functional bundle branch block.
TL;DR: This case demonstrates that functional complete left bundle branch block may be due to longitudinal dissociution in the His bundle.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surgical Management of the Preinfarction Syndrome
TL;DR: Surgical management of a selected group of patients with the preinfarction syndrome is associated with a lower mortality and an improved functional result when compared with the natural history of the syndrome.
