TL;DR: Systemic sclerosis is associated with decreased saliva production and interincisal distance, more missing teeth, and periodontal disease and clinical correlates of SSc with these oral abnormalities are determined.

TL;DR: Oral HRZoL in SSc is independently associated with global HRQoL, however, is not related to physician-assessed disease severity, which suggests that physicians may be disregarding issues related to oral health.
