Experimental Evidence for Efimov Quantum States
Hanns-Christoph Naegerl,T. Kraemer,Michael Mark,P. Waldburger,Johann G. Danzl,B. Engeser,A. D. Lange,K. Pilch,Antti Jaakkola,Cheng Chin,Rudolf Grimm +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the Efimov trimer was observed in an ultracold thermal gas of cesium atoms and its signature was shown to be a giant three-body recombination loss when the strength of the two-body interaction is varied near a Feshbach resonance.

Experimental Evidence for Efimov Quantum States
Hanns-Christoph Nägerl,T. Kraemer,Michael Mark,P. Waldburger,Johann G. Danzl,B. Engeser,A. D. Lange,K. Pilch,Antti Jaakkola,Cheng Chin,Rudolf Grimm +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the Efimov resonance was observed in an ultracold thermal gas of cesium atoms, and the resonance occurred in the range of large negative two-body scattering lengths.

Crossover to 2D in a double-evanescent wave trap
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the preparation of a dense gas of cesium atoms at the crossover to two-dimensionalality in a highly anisotropic surface trap that is realized with two evanescent light waves.
