Journal ArticleDOI
Gallium antisite defect and residual acceptors in undoped GaSb
TL;DR: In this paper, the positron lifetime spectroscopy (PAS) and the coincident Doppler broadening (CDB) technique were combined to identify Ca vacancy (V-Ga) related defects by combining the CDB measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interface reaction of U3Si2-UO2 composite pellets during spark plasma sintering
Yun Wang,Yi Zhong,B.F. Su,Wenyuan Wang,Chao Lu,Libing Yu,Ming-Wei Chu,Rui Gao,Zhenliang Yang,Bingqing Li,Xiaobo Yang,Feng Zhang +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the interaction between U 3 Si 2 and UO 2 during the sintering process was examined with X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and transmission electron microsc (TEM).
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of annealing temperature on electronic band structural, optical constant, and band gap of uranium dioxide films

Role of martensitic interface on the discontinuous precipitation of U-Ti alloys at 400 ºC
Taoping Shi,Yufei Li,Yawen Zhao,Fan Liu,Qing Yan Xu,Chao Lu,B.F. Su,Zhiyong Ren,Jiaqing Yin,Lei Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: The microstructure evolution of U-0.8 wt%Ti during aging at 400 ºC was investigated through SEM and TEM techniques, and three kinds of decomposition routes were identified as mentioned in this paper .
Journal ArticleDOI
Densification mechanism of U3Si2 consolidated by spark plasma sintering
Yun Wang,Yi Zhong,B.F. Su,Tao Shi,Qing Yan Xu,Yichuan Liao,Libing Yu,Mingfu Chu,Rui Gao,Zhen Yang,Bingqing Li,Jing Wei Xu,Xiaobo Yang,Feng Zhang +13 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the densification mechanism of U3Si2 by Spark Plasminar Sintering (SPS) and found that the grain size of SPS-sintered U3 Si2 pellets persisted ∼25 μm when soaked at 900-1300 °C and increased to ∼35 μm at 1400 °C.
