Journal ArticleDOI
Band gap engineering in BiNbO4 for visible-light photocatalysis
TL;DR: In this paper, the electronic structure of anionic mono-and co-anionic doped (N-N and C-S) BiNbO4 was investigated for visible light photocatalysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anion-Doped NaTaO3 for Visible Light Photocatalysis
Baochang Wang,Pushkar D. Kanhere,Zhong Chen,Jawad Nisar,Jawad Nisar,Biswarup Pathak,Rajeev Ahuja,Rajeev Ahuja +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors employed DFT and HSE06 methods to study the doping effects on the NaTaO3 photocatalyst and found that double-hole-mediated codoping can decrease the band gap significantly.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular simulation for gas adsorption at NiO (100) surface.
TL;DR: The calculated results suggest that the interaction of NO(2) molecule with NiO surface becomes stronger and contributes more extra peaks within the band gap as the coverage increases, and the work function of the surfaces shows different behavior with different adsorbed gases and their coverage.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mo- and N-doped BiNbO(4) for photocatalysis applications
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of co-doping of Mo and N in BiNbO4 has been studied and discussed with respect to the standard redox potential levels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Water Adsorption and Dissociation on BaTiO3 Single-Crystal Surfaces
TL;DR: In this article, the Fourier transform infrared spectrum was used for water-molecule adsorption on BaTiO3 single-crystal surfaces, and the first-principles calculations of the 1/4-, 1/2-, and 1-monolayer water coverage were performed.
