Characterization of RNA content in individual phase-separated coacervate microdroplets
Damian Wollny,Damian Wollny,Benjamin Vernot,Jun Wang,Maria Hondele,Maria Hondele,Anthony A. Hyman,Karsten Weis,Camp Jg,Dora Tang T,Dora Tang T,Barbara Treutlein +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the RNA content of phase-separated droplets at single condensate resolution was analyzed using high-throughput sequencing, and it was shown that RNAs which are enriched for specific sequence motifs efficiently accumulate in condensates.
Posted ContentDOI
Human stem cell resources are an inroad to Neandertal DNA functions
TL;DR: It is shown that a large repository of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) harbors extensive Neandertal DNA, including most known functionally relevant Ne andertal alleles present in modern humans.

P-POD, The Princeton Protein Orthology Database, as a Tool for Identifying Gene Function
Michael S. Livstone,Rose Oughtred,Sven Heinicke,Fan Kang,Benjamin Vernot,Aiton Goldman,Dannie Durand,David Botstein,Kara Dolinski +8 more
TL;DR: The Princeton Protein Orthology Database (P-PODB) as mentioned in this paper is a large-scale database of protein families and their homologous relationships, which is used to classify proteins from model organisms and medically important organisms into families of homologs and provide curated evidence from the literature addressing these relationships.
