An ultrafast rechargeable aluminium-ion battery
Meng-Chang Lin,Ming Gong,Bingan Lu,Yingpeng Wu,Di Yan Wang,Mingyun Guan,Michael Angell,Changxin Chen,Jiang Yang,Bing-Joe Hwang,Hongjie Dai +10 more
TL;DR: A rechargeable aluminium battery with high-rate capability that uses an aluminium metal anode and a three-dimensional graphitic-foam cathode, found to enable fast anion diffusion and intercalation, and to withstand more than 7,500 cycles without capacity decay.
Journal ArticleDOI
Super Long-Life Supercapacitors Based on the Construction of Nanohoneycomb-Like Strongly Coupled CoMoO4–3D Graphene Hybrid Electrodes
Xinzhi Yu,Bingan Lu,Zhi Xu +2 more
TL;DR: Nanohoneycomb-like strongly coupled CoMoO4 -3D graphene hybird electrodes are synthesized for supercapacitors which exhibit excellent specific capacitance and superior long-term cycle stability.
Journal ArticleDOI
Graphite Anode for a Potassium-Ion Battery with Unprecedented Performance
TL;DR: Graphite anode as anode for potassium ion battery (PIBs) possesses the merits of low cost and potentially high energy density, while suffers from limited cycle time and inferior stability, it is demonstrated that formation of a robust inorganic-rich passivation layer on the graphite anodes could resolve these dilemmas.
Journal ArticleDOI
MoSe2/N‐Doped Carbon as Anodes for Potassium‐Ion Batteries
Junmin Ge,Ling Fan,Jue Wang,Qingfeng Zhang,Zhaomeng Liu,Erjin Zhang,Qian Liu,Xinzhi Yu,Bingan Lu +8 more
Journal ArticleDOI
A Nonaqueous Potassium‐Based Battery–Supercapacitor Hybrid Device
TL;DR: A low cost nonaqueous potassium-based battery-supercapacitor hybrid device (BSH) is successfully established for the first time with soft carbon as the anode, commercialized activated carbon as a cathode, and potassium bis(fluoro-slufonyl)imide in dimethyl ether as the electrolyte.
