Journal ArticleDOI
Energy conservation in the refrigeration system through improvement of Coefficient of Performance and power consumption reduction using Nanofluids
TL;DR: In this article, the performance of the refrigeration system can be improved by means of employing nano refrigerants by dispersing Nanoparticles, including CuO, ZnO and Al2O3 nanoparticles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization and effect of Moringa Oleifera Lam. antioxidant additive on the storage stability of Jatropha biodiesel
TL;DR: In this paper, the degradation of biodiesel in spite of oxidation due to environmental storage conditions has been investigated by means of Moringa Oleifera Lam (MO) leaves.
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance and emission analysis of methyl ester of Azolla algae with TiO2 Nano additive for diesel engine
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of using TiO2 Nanoparticles at a different proportion of Azolla algae methyl ester, in a four-stroke single cylinder diesel engine was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Basil antioxidant additive on the performance, combustion and emission characteristics of used cooking oil biodiesel in CI engine
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of natural antioxidant additive Basil on the performance, emission and combustion characteristics of used cooking oil biodiesel in a diesel engine was discussed, and the results showed that brake thermal efficiency and brake-specific fuel consumption reduced with the addition of antioxidants.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clove as antioxidant additive in diesel–biodiesel fuel blends in diesel engines
TL;DR: In this paper, an experimental study was conducted to investigate the effects of biodiesel on NOx emissions from diesel engines. But the results showed that increased NOx emission from usage of biodies is a burning issue to be dealt with.
