Timely expression and activation of YAP1 in granulosa cells is essential for ovarian follicle development
Xiangmin Lv,Xiangmin Lv,Chunbo He,Chunbo He,Chunbo He,Cong Huang,Hongbo Wang,Hongbo Wang,Guohua Hua,Guohua Hua,Zhengfeng Wang,Jin Zhou,Jin Zhou,Xingcheng Chen,Bowen Ma,Barbara K. Timm,Victoria M. Maclin,Jixin Dong,Bo R. Rueda,John S. Davis,John S. Davis,Cheng Wang,Cheng Wang +22 more
TL;DR: This study reports that Yes‐Associated Protein 1 (YAP1), the major effector of Hippo signaling, is spatiotemporally expressed in ovarian granulosa cells and plays a critical role in the regulation of follicle development.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Human Papillomavirus-Independent Cervical Cancer Animal Model Reveals Unconventional Mechanisms of Cervical Carcinogenesis.
Chunbo He,Xiangmin Lv,Cong Huang,Peter C. Angeletti,Guohua Hua,Jixin Dong,Jin Zhou,Zhengfeng Wang,Bowen Ma,Xingcheng Chen,Paul F. Lambert,Bo R. Rueda,John S. Davis,Cheng Wang,Cheng Wang +14 more
TL;DR: In vitro and in vivo evidence is provided showing that differential expression and activation of YAP1 oncogene determine individual susceptibility to HPV infection and cervical carcinogenesis, and hyperactivation of Yap1 in cervical epithelium was sufficient to induce invasive cervical cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
YAP1-LATS2 feedback loop dictates senescent or malignant cell fate to maintain tissue homeostasis
Chunbo He,Chunbo He,Chunbo He,Xiangmin Lv,Xiangmin Lv,Cong Huang,Cong Huang,Guohua Hua,Bowen Ma,Xingcheng Chen,Peter C. Angeletti,Jixin Dong,Jin Zhou,Jin Zhou,Zhengfeng Wang,Zhengfeng Wang,Bo R. Rueda,John S. Davis,John S. Davis,Cheng Wang,Cheng Wang +20 more
TL;DR: It is reported that the Hippo pathway plays a critical role in controlling the fate of ovarian cells, and LATS2 and YAP1, two major components of the hippo/YAP signaling pathway, form a negative feedback loop to control Yap1 activity and prevent ovarian cells from malignant transformation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hypoxic Preconditioning Enhances Survival and Proangiogenic Capacity of Human First Trimester Chorionic Villus-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells for Fetal Tissue Engineering.
Dake Hao,Dake Hao,Chuanchao He,Bowen Ma,Lee Lankford,Lizette Reynaga,Diana L. Farmer,Diana L. Farmer,Fuzheng Guo,Aijun Wang,Aijun Wang +10 more
TL;DR: Hypoxic preconditioning is a promising strategy to increase the tolerance of CV-MSCs to ischemia and improve their therapeutic efficacy in fetal clinical applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Risks associated with premature ovarian failure in Han Chinese women.
Huidan Wang,Haitao Chen,Yingying Qin,Zhuqing Shi,Xiaoming Zhao,Jianfeng Xu,Jianfeng Xu,Bowen Ma,Zi-Jiang Chen,Zi-Jiang Chen +9 more
TL;DR: Genetic consultation could help those women whose relatives manifested an early or premature menopause to avoid the consequences of possible premature ovarian function cessation and vegetarian diet, tea consumption and mineral water drinking were protective.
