Meshless local radial basis function collocation method for convective‐diffusive solid‐liquid phase change problems

TL;DR: In this paper, a local radial basis function collocation method (LRBFCM) is proposed for one-dimensional convective diffusion problem with and without phase change, where the collocation is made locally over a set of overlapping domains of influence and time stepping is performed in an explicit way.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solution of potential flow problems by the modified method of fundamental solutions: Formulations with the single layer and the double layer fundamental solutions

TL;DR: In this article, a modified method of fundamental solutions (MMFS) was proposed for potential flow problems, where the source and collocation points were assumed to coincide on the physical boundary of the system and the desingularised values of the derivatives of the fundamental solution in the coordinate directions were calculated indirectly from the considerations of the constant potential field.
Journal ArticleDOI

Double-flow focused liquid injector for efficient serial femtosecond crystallography.

TL;DR: A double-flow focusing nozzle is introduced to meet the challenge of reliable and efficient delivery of fresh crystals across the beam of an X-ray free-electron laser over the course of an experiment, with significantly reduced sample consumption and improving jet stability over previous generations of nozzles.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Radial Basis Function Collocation Approach in Computational Fluid Dynamics

TL;DR: In this article, a mesh-free radial basis function collocation method was proposed for solving heat transfer and fluid flow problems in incompressible Newtonian Bussinesq fluid.
Journal ArticleDOI

Local RBF Collocation Method for Darcy Flow

TL;DR: In this paper, the mesh-free Local Radial Basis Function Collocation Method (LRBFCM) was used to solve coupled heat transfer and fluid flow problems in Darcy porous media.
