TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identified 230 Tycho-2 Spectral Catalog stars that exhibit 8 micron mid-infrared extraphotospheric excesses in the MidCourse Space Experiment (MSX) and Spitzer Space Telescope Galactic Legacy MidPlane Survey Extraordinaire (GLIMPSE) surveys.
Journal ArticleDOI
A SAGE View of the Mass Losing Sources in the Large Magellanic Cloud
Robert Blum,Sean D. Points,Sundar Srinivasan,Kevin Volk,Margaret Meixner,F. Markwick–Kemper,Remy Indebetouw,B. A. Whitney,Maureen O. Meade,Brian Babler,Ed Churchwell,Karl D. Gordon,C. W. Engelbracht,B. Q. For,Karl Misselt,U. Vijh,Claus Leitherer,William T. Reach,Joseph L. Hora +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the deepest, widest color-magnitude diagrams at mid infrared wavelengths ever produced for the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) for the SAGE (Surveying the Agents of a Galaxy's Evolution) survey.

Dust Production and Mass Loss in the Galactic Globular Cluster NGC 362
Martha L. Boyer,Iain McDonald,Jacco Th. van Loon,Karl D. Gordon,Brian Babler,Miwa Block,S. Bracker,Charles W. Engelbracht,Joseph L. Hora,Remy Indebetouw,Marilyn R. Meade,Margaret Meixner,Karl Misselt,Joana M. Oliveira,Marta Sewilo,Bernie Shiao,Barbara A. Whitney +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the spectral energy distribution of stars with the strongest IR excess was modeled and a total cluster dust mass-loss rate of 3.0(+2.0/-1.2) x 10^-9 solar masses per year was found, corresponding to a gas mass loss rate of 8.6(+5.6/-3.4) = -1.16.
