Cellular gene delivery via poly(hexamethylene biguanide)/pDNA self-assembled nanoparticles
Alexandru Chivu,Kantaraja Chindera,Graça Mendes,Angela An,Brian R. Davidson,Liam Good,Wenhui Song +6 more
TL;DR: The systematic results show that the nanoparticles of poly(hexamethylene biguanide) (PHMB) are effective in delivering plasmid DNA and ODNs to model cell lines in culture, with measurable changes in gene expression levels, comparable to and, in some conditions, even higher than PEI.

Enhanced energy metabolism at hypothermia following addition of a prostacyclin derivative in porcine liver
Journal ArticleDOI
Perivascular parenchymal extension of the ablation zone following liver microwave ablation
Saurabh Singh,P N Siriwardana,Edward W. Johnston,Steven Bandula,Brian R. Davidson,Rowland Illing +5 more
TL;DR: A 69-year-old man who presented with abdominal discomfort was, on examination, found to have a palpable abdominal mass which biopsy confirmed to be a leiomyosarcoma, and chemoradiotherapy demonstrated a new 15 mm solitary central right liver metastasis.
Journal ArticleDOI
PANasta Trial: Cattell Warren versus Blumgart techniques of pancreatico-jejunostomy following pancreato-duodenectomy—A double-blinded multi-centered trial, trial results.
Christopher Halloran,John P. Neoptolemos,Kellie Platt,Richard J. Jackson,Srikanth Reddy,Derek A. O'Reilly,Andreas Prachalias,Daniel H. Palmer,Krishna Menon,Brian R. Davidson,Dhanny Gomez,Paula Ghaneh +11 more
