Journal ArticleDOI

Non-Extensive Statistics, New Solution to the Cosmological Lithium Problem

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the impact of non-extensive Tsallis statistics (deviating from the MB) on thermonuclear reaction rates involved in standard models of BBN and showed that the predicted primordial abundances of D, $4$He, and $^7$Li agree very well with those observed ones by introducing a nonextensive parameter $q$.
Journal ArticleDOI

Big Bang nucleosynthesis revisited via Trojan Horse Method measurements

TL;DR: In this article, an up-to-date compilation of direct cross sections of 2H(d,p)3H, 2H (d,n)3He, 7Li(p,alpha)4He and 3He(d.p) 4He reactions is given.
Journal ArticleDOI

Peripheral heavy ion collisions as a probe of the nuclear gluon distribution

TL;DR: In this article, the photoproduction of heavy quarks for the deduction of the in-medium gluon distribution using three current parameterizations for this parton distribution is analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Relativistic continuum-continuum coupling in the dissociation of halo nuclei.

TL;DR: It is shown that neglecting relativistic effects leads to sizable inaccuracies in the extraction of the astrophysical S factor for the proton + beryllium radiative capture reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nuclear Astrophysics with Radioactive Beams

TL;DR: A review of the progress in the field of nuclear astrophysics with a focus on the role of indirect methods and reactions involving beams of rare isotopes is presented in this article, where the authors summarize the progress of the field.
