Five-year follow-up on a sample of gamblers: predictive factors of relapse.
Marie Grall-Bronnec,Morgane Guillou-Landreat,Julie Caillon,Caroline Dubertret,Lucia Romo,Lucia Romo,Irène Codina,Isabelle Chéreau-Boudet,Christophe Lançon,Marc Auriacombe,Marc Auriacombe,JEU-Group,Jean-Benoit Hardouin,Gaëlle Challet-Bouju +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a Markov model-based approach was employed to examine predictive factors associated with relapse at a subsequent follow-up visit and found that participants who reported not having experienced at least one month of abstinence and those with a low level of self-directedness were more likely to relapse.
Journal ArticleDOI
Short-term impact of alcohol detoxification on facial emotions recognition.
TL;DR: The RMET could be used to follow the improvement of FER during the first month of abstinence, especially as RMET performance has been associated with maintenance of alcohol withdrawal.
Journal ArticleDOI
Current (but not ex) cigarette smoking is associated with worse cognitive performances in schizophrenia: results from the FACE-SZ cohort.
J. Mallet,Ophélia Godin,Yecodji Dansou,Nicolas Mazer,Claire Scognamiglio,Fabrice Berna,Laurent Boyer,Delphine Capdevielle,Isabelle Chereau,T. D’Amato,Julien Dubreucq,Guillaume Fond,Sylvain Leigner,Pierre-Michel Llorca,David Misdrahi,Christine Passerieux,Romain Rey,Baptiste Pignon,Mathieu Urbach,Benoit Schorr,Franck Schürhoff,Letrillard Yann,Caroline Dubertret +22 more
TL;DR: This study is the largest to date providing strong evidence that chronic smoking is associated with cognitive impairment in SZ, arguing against the self-medication hypothesis as a contributor to the high prevalence of smoking in S Z.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determinants of Kidney Function and Accuracy of Kidney Microcysts Detection in Patients Treated With Lithium Salts for Bipolar Disorder
Nahid Tabibzadeh,Anne-Laure Faucon,Emmanuelle Vidal-Petiot,Fidéline Serrano,Lisa Males,Pedro Fernández,Antoine Khalil,François Rouzet,Coralie Tardivon,Nicolas Mazer,Caroline Dubertret,Marine Delavest,E. Marlinge,Bruno Etain,Frank Bellivier,François Vrtovsnik,Martin Flamant +16 more
TL;DR: Lithium treatment duration and hypothyroidism strongly impacted mGFR independently of age, especially in patients with microcysts, and MRI might help detect early lithium-induced kidney damage and inform preventive strategies.
