Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of significant coronary artery disease by noninvasive anatomical and functional imaging.
Danilo Neglia,Daniele Rovai,Chiara Caselli,Mikko Pietilä,Anna Teresinska,Santiago Aguadé-Bruix,María Nazarena Pizzi,Giancarlo Todiere,Alessia Gimelli,Stephen Schroeder,Tanja Drosch,Rosa Poddighe,Giancarlo Casolo,Constantinos Anagnostopoulos,Francesca Pugliese,François Rouzet,Dominique Le Guludec,Francesco Cappelli,Serafina Valente,Gian Franco Gensini,Camilla Zawaideh,Selene Capitanio,Gianmario Sambuceti,Fabio Marsico,Pasquale Perrone Filardi,Covadonga Fernández-Golfín,Luis M. Rincón,Frank P. Graner,Michiel A. de Graaf,Michael Fiechter,Julia Stehli,Oliver Gaemperli,Eliana Reyes,Sandy Nkomo,Maija Mäki,Valentina Lorenzoni,Giuseppe Turchetti,Clara Carpeggiani,Martina Marinelli,Stefano Puzzuoli,Maurizio Mangione,P. Marcheschi,Fabio Mariani,Daniela Giannessi,Stephan Nekolla,Massimo Lombardi,Rosa Sicari,Arthur J.H.A. Scholte,José Luis Zamorano,Philipp A. Kaufmann,S. Richard Underwood,Juhani Knuuti +51 more
TL;DR: In a multicenter European population of patients with stable chest pain and low prevalence of CAD, coronary computed tomographic angiography is more accurate than noninvasive functional testing for detecting significant CAD defined invasively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Desmosomal gene analysis in arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia/cardiomyopathy: spectrum of mutations and clinical impact in practice.
Véronique Fressart,Guillaume Duthoit,Erwan Donal,Vincent Probst,Jean-Claude Deharo,Philippe Chevalier,Didier Klug,Olivier Dubourg,Etienne Delacrétaz,Pierre Cosnay,Patrice Scanu,Fabrice Extramiana,Dagmar I. Keller,Françoise Hidden-Lucet,Françoise Simon,Vanessa Bessirard,Nathalie Roux-Buisson,Jean-Louis Hébert,Arshid Azarine,Daniele Casset-Senon,François Rouzet,Yves Lecarpentier,Guy Fontaine,Catherine Coirault,Robert T. Frank,Bernard Hainque,Philippe Charron +26 more
TL;DR: This study supports the use of genetic testing as a new diagnostic tool in ARVC/D and also suggests a prognostic impact, as the severity of the disease appears different according to the underlying gene or the presence of multiple mutations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Respective Performance of 18F-FDG PET and Radiolabeled Leukocyte Scintigraphy for the Diagnosis of Prosthetic Valve Endocarditis
François Rouzet,R. Chequer,Khadija Benali,Laurent Lepage,Walid Ghodbane,Xavier Duval,Bernard Iung,Alec Vahanian,Dominique Le Guludec,Fabien Hyafil,Fabien Hyafil +10 more
TL;DR: 18F-FDG PET offers high sensitivity for the detection of active infection in patients with suspected PVE and inconclusive echocardiography results and leukocyte scintigraphy offers a higher specificity, however, than 18F- FDG PET for diagnosis of IE and should be considered in cases of inconclusive 18F–Li PET findings or in the first 2 mo after cardiac surgery.
Journal ArticleDOI
Radiolabeled Fucoidan as a P-Selectin Targeting Agent for In Vivo Imaging of Platelet-Rich Thrombus and Endothelial Activation
François Rouzet,Laure Bachelet-Violette,Jean-Marc Alsac,Michimasa Suzuki,Alain Meulemans,Liliane Louedec,Anne Petiet,Martine Jandrot-Perrus,Frédéric Chaubet,Jean-Baptiste Michel,Dominique Le Guludec,Didier Letourneur +11 more
TL;DR: 99mTc-fucoidan is supported as a relevant imaging agent for in vivo detection of biologic activities associated with P-selectin overexpression, such as arterial thrombus and ischemic memory.
Journal ArticleDOI
Topology of the fibrinolytic system within the mural thrombus of human abdominal aortic aneurysms
Xavier Houard,François Rouzet,Ziad Touat,Monique Philippe,M. Dominguez,Vincent Fontaine,Laure Sarda-Mantel,Alain Meulemans,D. Le Guludec,Olivier Meilhac,Michel Jb +10 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that the increased plasma concentrations of PAPs and D‐dimers found in AAA patients are related to mural thrombus proteolytic activity, thus explaining their known link with AAA progression.
