Journal ArticleDOI
A perturbed angular correlation spectrometer for material science studies
TL;DR: In this article, a four-detector perturbed angular correlation (PAC) spectrometer was developed with ultra-fast BaF2 detectors to acquire four coincidence spectra simultaneously, two at 180° and two at 90°.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characteristics of a Compton suppressed Clover detector up to 5 MeV
M. Saha Sarkar,P. Datta,Indrani Ray,Chandi Charan Dey,Sukalyan Chattopadhyay,Anindya Goswami,P. K. Banerjee,R. P. Singh,P. K. Joshi,S. D. Paul,Sudeb Bhattacharya,R. K. Bhowmik,J. M. Chatterjee,H. C. Jain,S. Sen,B. Dasmahapatra +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the Compton suppressed Clover germanium detector has been studied up to 5 MeV using a radioactive 66 Ga (T 1/2 = 9.41 h ) source.
Journal ArticleDOI
Martensitic phase transformation in TiNi.
TL;DR: The predominant component found at room temperature has been attributed to monoclinic martensitic phase of TiNi and the third component with values of ω Q and η similar to those for the martensite phase is attributed to the intermediate orthorhombic phase.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparative studies of YAG(Ce) and CsI(Tl) scintillators
TL;DR: In this paper, the performances of YAG(Ce) and CsI(Tl) scintillators have been compared using photomultiplier tube (PMT) readout for γ rays and α particles.
