Dual-wavelength passively mode-locked Nd:LuYSiO5 laser with SESAM.
Zhenhua Cong,Dingyuan Tang,W. D. Tan,Jian Zhang,Changwen Xu,Dewei Luo,Xiaodong Xu,Dongzhen Li,Jun Xu,Xingyu Zhang,Qingpu Wang +10 more
TL;DR: A diode-end-pumped dual-wavelength mode-locked laser based on Nd:LuYSiO5 crystal is demonstrated and ultrahigh repetition rate ultrafast pulses with 997 fs pulse width and 0.59 THz repetition rate are further formed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fabrication and laser properties of transparent Yb:YAG ceramics
TL;DR: In this paper, high optical quality transparent Yb:YAG laser ceramics have been successfully fabricated by a vacuum reactive sintering method using commercial Al 2 O 3 powder and co-precipitated Y 2O 3 and Yb 2 O3 powders.
Journal ArticleDOI
Passive femtosecond mode-locking and cw laser performances of Yb 3+ : Sc 2 SiO 5
W. D. Tan,Dingyuan Tang,Xiaodong Xu,Jian Zhang,Changwen Xu,Feng Xu,Lihe Zheng,Liangbi Su,Jun Xu +8 more
TL;DR: The femtosecond and cw laser performances of a Yb3+: Sc2SiO5 (Yb: SSO) are investigated and the corresponding slope efficiency and optical to optical efficiency were 70 % and 59 % respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Yb:LuAG laser ceramics: a promising high power laser gain medium
TL;DR: Yb:LuAG laser ceramics with different Yb3+ doping concentrations were successfully fabricated by using a solid-state reactive sintering method in this paper, which has given 7.2 W output power with 65% slope efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diode-end-pumped Nd:CaYAlO4 mode locked laser
Zhenhua Cong,Zhenhua Cong,Dingyuan Tang,W. D. Tan,Jian Zhang,Dewei Luo,Changwen Xu,X.D. Xu,Dehua Li,J. Xu,Xuan Zhang,Q.P. Wang +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, a diode pumped passively mode-locked Nd:CaYAlO4 (Nd:CYA) laser was demonstrated for the first time to the best of our knowledge.
