Dan Zhang,Ee Ling Ng,Wanli Hu,Hongyuan Wang,Pablo Galaviz,Hude Yang,Wentao Sun,Li Chongxiao,Ma Xingwang,Fu Bin,Peiyi Zhao,Fulin Zhang,Shuqin Jin,Mingdong Zhou,Lianfeng Du,Chang Peng,Xuejun Zhang,Zhiyu Xu,Bin Xi,Liu Xiaoxia,Shiyou Sun,Zhenhua Cheng,Lihua Jiang,Yufeng Wang,Liang Gong,Changlin Kou,Yan Li,Youhua Ma,Dongfeng Huang,Jian Zhu,Jianwu Yao,Chaowen Lin,Song Qin,Liuqiang Zhou,Binghui He,Deli Chen,Huanchun Li,Limei Zhai,Qiuliang Lei,Wu Shuxia,Yitao Zhang,Junting Pan,Baojing Gu,Hongbin Liu +43 more
TL;DR: It is found that the use of plastic mulch can indeed increase crop yields on average by 25%-42% in the immediate season due to the increase of soil temperature and moisture, but the unabated accumulation of film residues in the field negatively impacts its physicochemical properties linked to healthy soil and threatens food production in the long term.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular Mechanism Underlying the Sorghum sudanense (Piper) Stapf. Response to Osmotic Stress Determined via Single-Molecule Real-Time Sequencing and Next-Generation Sequencing
TL;DR: In this article , the first full-length transcriptome database of sudangrass under drought stress at different time points was constructed by combining single-molecule real-time sequencing (SMRT) and next-generation transcriptome sequencing (NGS).
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of the Combining Straw Return with Urease Inhibitor on Ammonia Volatilization, Nitrogen Use Efficiency, and Rice Yield in Purple Soil Areas
TL;DR: In this article , the incorporation of oilseed rape straw and the urease inhibitor affected NH3 volatilization, fertilizer N use efficiency (FNUE), and rice yields over two growing seasons (2018-2019) in the purple soil region.
Journal ArticleDOI
[Effects of Fertilization and Straw Mulching on Nitrogen and Phosphorus Loss in Chengdu Plain].
TL;DR: In this paper , a two-year (2018-2019) study was conducted at a rice paddy field under different fertilizer application rates and straw mulching in Chengdu Plain.
Journal ArticleDOI
The effect of strip orientation and width on radiation interception in maize–soybean strip intercropping systems
TL;DR: In this article , the effects of strip width and orientation on photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) distribution characteristics were determined to gain a better understanding of crop productivity in maize-soybean intercropping systems.
