Effect of Hardness Test on Precipitation Hardening Aluminium Alloy 6061-T6
Chee Fai Tan,M.R. Said +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, an experimental study on precipitation of aluminium alloy 6061-T6 to determine the effect of artificial ageing on the hardness of aluminum alloy T6 has been conducted to obtain reduction in energy and total cost, which leads to the conclusion that the optimum aged was achieved between 175 o C to 195 o C with 2 to 6 hours of ageing time.

The degradation kinetics of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) under non-aqueous and aqueous conditions
TL;DR: In this article, the degradation of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate), P(3HB), was determined in two conditions namely, a non-aqueous condition of chloroform-methanol mixture in the presence of either one of the two following catalysts, 4-toluenesulphonic acid and imidazole, and secondly in an aqueous condition with increasing pH.
Journal ArticleDOI
Heat spreading and heat transfer coefficient with fin heat sink
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of thermal heat spreading effect and determination of the thermal heating spreading resistance on the performance of two conventional fin heat sinks with flat metal base and an array of cooling fins on top are determined under force and natural convection air cooling and with various heating power input.
Vehicle seat design : state of the art and recent development
TL;DR: A review of the state of the art of vehicle seat design can be found in this article, where the authors describe a large variety of studies and up-to-date techniques developed for vehicle seats used by different type of transportation systems such as cars, trucks, tractors, trains and aircrafts.

Fire Fighting Mobile Robot: State of the Art and Recent Development
Chee Fai Tan,S.M. Liew,Mohd Rizal Alkahari,S. S. S. Ranjit,M.R. Said,Wei Wei Chen,Gwm Matthias Rauterberg,D. Sivakumar +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a fire fighting mobile robot is designed to reduce the direct contact of a fire fighter to the fire hazards, but the fire fighter is still facing the risk of fire hazard because they still need to go near to fire scene.
