Enhanced Electrochemical Performance of Li4Ti5O12 by Niobium Doping for Pseudocapacitive Applications

TL;DR: The EDS and elemental mapping results demonstrate that Nb elements are uniformly doped in LTO with a proper stoichiometric ratio and the optimized 8%Nb-doped LTO electrode exhibits pseudocapacitive behavior and delivers a high specific capacitance retention even after 5000 cycles.
Book ChapterDOI

Safety Aspects of Li-Ion Batteries

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of carbon-coated LiFePO4 Li-ion oxide cathode was studied for its electrochemical, thermal, and safety performance, which indicated that the carbon coating improves the electronic conductivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Selected Properties of Lattice Dynamics of HgSe and β-HgS

TL;DR: In this article, optical phonon dispersion for β-ΗgS was measured by the neutron scattering for the first time, and the results confirmed theoretically predicted anomalous behavior of phonon modes in this material, resulting probably from high ionicity of mercury sulphide and 1arge difference of Hg and S atomic mass.

Basic Elements for Energy Storage and Conversion

TL;DR: In this paper, the basic concept for the energy storage and conversion systems is presented. But the basic elements of technologies are also given, which make an introduction of the topics, making an introduction to the topics.
