mvHash-B - A New Approach for Similarity Preserving Hashing
TL;DR: This work presents a new algorithm for similarity preserving hashing based on the idea of majority voting in conjunction with run length encoding to compress the input data and uses Bloom filters to represent the fingerprint called mvHash-B, which is almost as fast as SHA-1 and thus faster than any other SPH algorithm.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Reversible image watermarking by histogram modification for integer DCT coefficients
TL;DR: A reversible watermarking scheme which achieves perfect restoration of both the embedded watermark and the original image during extraction, and provides a wide quality range from around 40 dB to 60 dB for the watermarked image, and an inherent fine adjustment capability for the quality.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Quantifying privacy and security of biometric fuzzy commitment
TL;DR: This work shows that in practice, one has to explicitly measure the security and privacy instead of trusting results under non-realistic assumptions, and investigates and measured quantitatively in an existing protection system for 3D face recognition.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Upla,Kiran B. Raja,Raghavendra Ramachandra,Christoph Busch,Etienne de Stoutz +40 more
TL;DR: In this article, an end-to-end deep learning-based image signal processing (ISP) pipeline that can replace classical hand-crafted ISPs and achieve nearly real-time performance on smartphone NPUs was developed.

Handbook of Vascular Biometrics
TL;DR: This open access handbook provides the first comprehensive overview of vascular biometrics exploiting the shape of human blood vessels for biometric recognition, i.e. finger vein recognition, hand/palm vein Recognition, retina recognition, and sclera recognition.
