Journal ArticleDOI

Inkjet printed surface cell light-emitting devices from a water-based polymer dispersion

TL;DR: In this paper, a planar surface cell geometry (anode as well as the cathode are made of gold; interelectrode spacing: 1μm) by means of inkjet printing is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ultrathin SnO2 gas sensors fabricated by spray pyrolysis for the detection of humidity and carbon monoxide

TL;DR: In this paper, a gas sensor based on ultrathin SnO 2 -films with high sensitivity for humidity and carbon monoxide has been developed, which is operated at temperatures of 250-400°C, show high sensitivity to humidity and are able to detect CO down to a concentration of less than 5ppm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of a microfluidic biochip for online monitoring of fungal biofilm dynamics.

TL;DR: The presented work describes the novel combination of contact-less dielectric microsensors and microfluidics to promote biofilm formation for quantitative cell analysis and demonstrates the ability to directly monitor dielectrics changes of sub-cellular components within a living cell population.
Patent

Device, particularly a biochip, for identifying microorganisms

TL;DR: In this article, a bio-chip for the identification and characterization of microorganisms, by means of dielectric spectroscopy without the addition of markers, is described. But the authors do not specify the characteristics of the micro-chip.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of a Lab-on-a-Chip for the Characterization of Human Cells

TL;DR: The novel application of cellular dielectric spectroscopy (CDS) using contact-less micro-dielectric sensors for quantitative cell analysis is described using HeLa and Endothelial cells.
