A Versatile Colorimetric Probe based on Thiosemicarbazide-Amine Proton Transfer.

TL;DR: The coupling of a thiosemicarbazide binding motif and a naphthalimide-based chromophore affords highly sensitive sensor molecules, which can indicate the presence of amines with a pronounced and readily visible color change.
Patent

Time-temperature indicators

TL;DR: Time temperature indicators are disclosed in this article which comprise at least one carrier material and one aggregachromic indicator dye and which respond to the combined effects of temperature and time with an easily measurable, time-temperature dependent, irreversible, color change.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Properties of Photoluminescent 1,4‐Bis‐(α‐cyano‐4‐methoxystyryl)benzenes.

Christiane Loewe, +1 more
- 08 Oct 2002 -
TL;DR: Löwe and Weder as discussed by the authors synthesized photoluminescent 1,4-bis-( -cyano-4-methoxystyryl)benzenes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hard Phase Crystallization Directs the Phase Segregation of Hydrogen-Bonded Supramolecular Polymers

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of supramolecular polymers based on poly(ethylene-co-butylene) (PEB) telechelics and the complementary H-bonding pair isophthalic acid-pyridine (IPA-Py) were designed to feature two blocks that assemble into an amorphous low-glass transition phase formed by the PEB segments and crystalline domains consisting of the binding motifs.
