Journal ArticleDOI

Genetic programs in human and mouse early embryos revealed by single-cell RNA sequencing

TL;DR: A comprehensive analysis of transcriptome dynamics from oocyte to morula in both human and mouse embryos, using single-cell RNA sequencing finds that each developmental stage can be delineated concisely by a small number of functional modules of co-expressed genes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Maternal exposure to bisphenol A may increase the risks of Parkinson’s disease through down-regulation of fetal IGF-1 expression

TL;DR: It is speculated that maternal exposure to low-dose BPA during gestational period may decrease IGF-1 expression, thus hinder the development of fetal DA neurons, and finally increase the risks of fetal origin of PD.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bisphenol A Represses Dopaminergic Neuron Differentiation from Human Embryonic Stem Cells through Downregulating the Expression of Insulin-like Growth Factor 1

TL;DR: The investigation suggests that BPA represses DA neuron differentiation mainly through downregulating IGF-1 expression, which may attribute to the altered methylation level on the promoter of IGF- 1 upstream genes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of estradiol on proliferation and differentiation of side population stem/progenitor cells from murine endometrium

TL;DR: The effect of estrogen on the proliferation and differentiation of endometrium SP cells via ESR1 was observed and it was in a concentration dependent fashion and more work is needed to understand the in vivo effect of E2 at the physiological concentration on the differentiation of SP cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Human amnion-derived mesenchymal stem cells improved the reproductive function of age-related diminished ovarian reserve in mice through Ampk/FoxO3a signaling pathway.

TL;DR: After hAMSC transplantation, the ovarian function in AR-DOR mice was significantly improved, meanwhile the apoptosis of granulosa and stromal cells in the ovaries was significantly repressed, and the expression level of Ampk and the ratio of phosphorylated FoxO3a to total FoxO 3a both were significantly increased, meanwhile increased Sod2 expression was also observed.
