Journal ArticleDOI

Biological activity studies on organotin(IV)n+ complexes and parent compounds

TL;DR: In this paper, a review summarized the literature and own data on the parent organotin(IV) compounds and complexes formed with biologically active ligands and showed that the parent compounds can be formed by biologically active compounds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structural investigations on organotin(IV) chlorin-e6 complexes, their effect on sea urchin embryonic development and induced apoptosis.

TL;DR: 2H(2)O was the most toxic derivative, by exerting antimitotic effect very early and by triggering apoptosis in the 2-cell stage of sea urchin embryonic development.
Journal ArticleDOI

Organometallic complexes with biological molecules. XVII. Triorganotin(IV) complexes with amoxicillin and ampicillin.

TL;DR: In this article, the triorganotin(IV) complexes of two beta-lactamic antibiotics, 6-[D-(-)-beta-amino-p-hydroxyphenyl-acetamido]penicillin (=amoxicillin) and 6-(D-()-alpha-aminobenzyl]-penicillinate (=ampicillin), have been synthesized and investigated both in solid and solution states.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and structural studies on the tBu2Sn(IV) complexes with aromatic mono- and dicarboxylic acids containing hetero {N} donor atom

TL;DR: In this article, the binding sites of the ligands were identified by FT-IR spectroscopic measurements and the rationalisation of the experimental 1 1 9 Sn Mossbauer nuclear quad-rupole splittings, A, - according to the point charge model formalism - support the formation of octahedral (O h ) or trigonal bipyramidal (TBP) molecular structures.
