Photocathode R&D Program at LBNL

TL;DR: The work of the photocathode R&D program at LBNL is presented in this article, where the quantum efficiency of Cu(111) is measured for different impinging light angles with photon energies just above the work function.
Journal ArticleDOI

A 89Y NMR study of YBa2Cu4O8

TL;DR: In this article, high resolution 89 Y NMR shift and relaxation time measurements on YBa 2 Cu 4 O 8 have been performed between 80 and 380K, where the shift at room temperature, −− 50ppm, is somewhat smaller than for fully oxygenated YBA 2 Cu 3 O 7−σ and the relation time is longer.
Journal ArticleDOI

A neutron diffraction study of the quadrupled perovskite Nd2Ba2Cu2Ti2O11

TL;DR: In this paper, the material Nd 2 Ba 2 Cu 2 Ti 2 O 11 has been synthesized by standard solid state techniques and its structure determined by time-of-flight powder neutron diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sol—Gel Synthesis and Room‐Temperature Properties of α‐LiZr2(PO4)3.

TL;DR: In this article, a sol-gel approach was used to extract α-LiZr2(PO4)3 from a stoichiometric solution of Li(OAc) and ZrO(NO3)2 in HNO3 to which EDTA and citric acid was given at pH < 7.
Journal ArticleDOI

BiMnPO5 with ferromagnetic Mn2+–(μ-O)2–Mn2+ units: a model for magnetic exchange in edge-linked Mn2+O6 octahedra

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that similar units in BiMnPO5 show ferromagnetic coupling which has been rationalized by density functional theory modelling and calculations of magnetic exchange energies.
