Efficacy of an Artificial Neural Network–Based Approach to Endoscopic Ultrasound Elastography in Diagnosis of Focal Pancreatic Masses
Adrian Saftoiu,Adrian Saftoiu,Peter Vilmann,Florin Gorunescu,Jan Janssen,Michael Hocke,Michael Larsen,Julio Iglesias Garcia,Paolo Giorgio Arcidiacono,Uwe Will,Marc Giovannini,Cristoph F. Dietrich,Roald Flesland Havre,Cristian Gheorghe,Colin J. McKay,Dan Ionuţ Gheonea,Tudorel Ciurea +16 more
TL;DR: The accuracy of real-time EUS elastography in focal pancreatic lesions using computer-aided diagnosis by artificial neural network analysis is assessed, providing fast and accurate diagnoses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Accuracy of endoscopic ultrasound elastography used for differential diagnosis of focal pancreatic masses: a multicenter study
Adrian Saftoiu,Peter Vilmann,Florin Gorunescu,Jan Janssen,Michael Hocke,Michael Larsen,Julio Iglesias-Garcia,Paolo Giorgio Arcidiacono,Uwe Will,Marc Giovannini,Christoph F. Dietrich,Roald Flesland Havre,Cristian Gheorghe,Colin J. McKay,Dan Ionuţ Gheonea,Tudorel Ciurea +15 more
TL;DR: The value of quantitative analysis of EUS elastography recordings was proven by good reproducibility of the videos, as well as good parameters of the AUROC analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Epidemiology of inflammatory bowel disease in adults who refer to gastroenterology care in Romania: a multicentre study.
Cristian Gheorghe,Oliviu Pascu,Liana Gheorghe,Razvan Iacob,Eugen Dumitru,Marcel Tantau,Roxana Vadan,A. Goldis,Gheorghe Balan,Speranta Iacob,Dana Dobru,Adrian Saftoiu +11 more
TL;DR: IBD in patients in Romania had a more ‘benign’ course as compared with the literature, with lower rates of severe, extensive or complicated disease and a small proportion of patients who need surgery.
Journal ArticleDOI
The prevalence and risk factors of hepatitis B virus infection in an adult population in Romania: a nationwide survey.
TL;DR: A prevalence rate of 4.4 and 27.0% for HBsAg and anti-HBcAb, respectively represents a high figure within the European Union and a strong motivation for developing adequate strategies for prevention, active detection, and treatment of HBV infection in Romania.
Journal Article
The prevalence and risk factors of hepatitis C virus infection in adult population in Romania: a nationwide survey 2006 - 2008.
Liana Gheorghe,Irma Eva Csiki,Speranta Iacob,Cristian Gheorghe,Gabriela Smira,Loredana Regep +5 more
TL;DR: Overall HCV prevalence in Romania is 3.23%.
