Epigenetic Effects of Gender-Affirming Hormone Treatment: A Pilot Study of the ESR2 Promoter’s Methylation in AFAB People
Francesco Pallotti,Giulia Senofonte,Fani Konstantinidou,Silvia Di Chiano,Fabiana Faja,F. Rizzo,Francesco Cargnelutti,Csilla Krausz,Donatella Paoli,Andrea Lenzi,Liborio Stuppia,Valentina Gatta,Francesco Lombardo +12 more
TL;DR: The data indicated that epigenetic changes may be regulated, suggesting that the modulation of estrogen signaling is relevant shortly after the beginning of the treatment up to T6, with no further significant modification at T12, and that treatment with exogenous testosterone can modify the ESR2 methylation pattern.

[Genetic control of spermatogenesis: Y chromosome and male infertility]
Csilla Krausz,J.-P. Siffroi,N. Souleyreau-Therville,Thomas Bourgeron,Ken McElreavey,Marc Fellous +5 more
Csilla Krausz,Marc Fellous +1 more
TL;DR: On sait that le testicule est un site important d’expression de nombreux gènes, parfois d“isoformes issues d”un épissage alternatif spécifique du testicules, que les gênes impliqués dans le bon déroulement of the spermatogenèse sont plusieurs centains, voire milliers.
