Dissolution of cellulose with ionic liquids and its application : a mini-review

TL;DR: In this article, the dissolution of cellulose with ionic liquids and its application were reviewed, where cellulose can be easily regenerated from its ionic liquid solutions by addition of water, ethanol or acetone.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of Three Microwave/Chemical Pretreatment Processes for Enzymatic Hydrolysis of Rice Straw

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of three microwave/chemical pretreatment processes of rice straw on its weight loss and chemical composition was examined, and the results showed that the rice straw pre-treated by microwave/acid/alkali/H2O2 had the highest weight reduction and cellulose content.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microwave-assisted Alkali Pre-treatment of Wheat Straw and its Enzymatic Hydrolysis

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of microwave power and pre-treatment time on the weight loss and composition of wheat straw was examined and compared with the conventional alkali pretreatment process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dissolution of Cellulose with Ionic Liquids and Its Application: A Mini‐Review

TL;DR: In this article, the dissolution of cellulose with ionic liquids and its application were reviewed, where cellulose can be easily regenerated from its ionic liquid solutions by addition of water, ethanol or acetone.
Journal ArticleDOI

Treatment of phenolic wastewater by combined UF and NF/RO processes

TL;DR: In this article, the potential of using the integrated membrane systems based on ultrafiltration (UF) coupled with nanofiltration (NF) or reverse osmosis (RO) for the treatment of phenolic wastewater from a paper mill was investigated.
