Journal ArticleDOI
The Full-fledged Dwarf Irregular Galaxy Leo A*
Vladas Vansevičius,Nobuo Arimoto,Takashi Hasegawa,Chisato Ikuta,Pascale Jablonka,D. Narbutis,Kouji Ohta,R. Stonkutė,Naoyuki Tamura,Valdas Vansevicius,Yoshihiko Yamada +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, an isolated and extremely gas-rich dwarf irregular galaxy of very low stellar mass and metallicity was studied and the discovery of an old stellar halo and a sharp stellar edge was reported.

Full-Fledged Dwarf Irregular Galaxy Leo A
Vladas Vansevičius,Nobuo Arimoto,Takashi Hasegawa,Chisato Ikuta,Pascale Jablonka,D. Narbutis,Kouji Ohta,R. Stonkute,Naoyuki Tamura,Valdas Vansevicius,Yoshihiko Yamada +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have studied a very low stellar mass and metallicity of the isolated and extremely gas rich dwarf irregular galaxy, called Leo A, and reported the discovery of an old stellar halo and a sharp stellar edge.
Journal ArticleDOI
An extended star cluster at the outer edge of the spiral galaxy M33
R. Stonkute,Vladas Vansevičius,Nobuo Arimoto,Takashi Hasegawa,D. Narbutis,Naoyuki Tamura,Pascale Jablonka,Kouji Ohta,Yoshihiko Yamada +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, an extended globular-like star cluster, M33-EC1, at the outer edge of the spiral galaxy M33 is reported. But the distance to the cluster is 890 kpc, and it lies at a 12.5 kpc projected distance from the center of M33.
Journal ArticleDOI
An extended star cluster at the outer edge of the spiral galaxy m 33
R. Stonkutė,Vladas Vansevičius,Nobuo Arimoto,Takashi Hasegawa,D. Narbutis,Naoyuki Tamura,Pascale Jablonka,Kouji Ohta,Yoshihiko Yamada +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the discovery of an extended globular-like star cluster, M 33-EC1, at the outer edge of the spiral galaxy M 33, which lies at a projected distance of 12.5 kpc from the center of M 33.
Journal ArticleDOI
Compact Star Clusters in the M31 Disk
TL;DR: In this paper, a survey of compact star clusters (apparent size 1.5 arcsec (>06 pc) was carried out and the authors derived cluster parameters based on the photometric data and multiband images by employing simple stellar population models.
