Proposed antimatter gravity measurement with an antihydrogen beam

TL;DR: The AEGIS experiment at CERN/AD as mentioned in this paper was the first experiment to directly measure the Earth's gravitational acceleration on antihydrogen with a classical Moire deflectometer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Variable energy positron beam study of Xe-implanted uranium oxide

TL;DR: Doppler broadening of annihilation gamma-line combined with a slow positron beam was used to measure the momentum density distribution of annihilating pair in a set of sintered UO2 samples.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Formation Of A Cold Antihydrogen Beam in AEGIS For Gravity Measurements

TL;DR: In this article, the formation of the anti-hydrogen beam in the AEGIS experiment through the use of inhomogeneous electric fields is discussed and simulation results including the geometry of the apparatus and realistic hypothesis about the antihydrogen initial conditions are shown.
