Journal ArticleDOI
Coexistence of superconductivity and ferromagnetism in URhGe
Dai Aoki,Andrew Huxley,Eric Ressouche,Daniel Braithwaite,Jacques Flouquet,Jean-Pascal Brison,Elsa Lhotel,C. Paulsen +7 more
TL;DR: It is shown that the ferromagnet URhGe is superconducting at ambient pressure, and the thermodynamic signature of the transition is found—its form is consistent with asuperconducting pairing of a spin-triplet type, although further testing with cleaner samples is needed to confirm this.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fermi Surface, Magnetic and Superconducting Properties of LaRhIn5 and CeTIn5 (T: Co, Rh and Ir)
Hiroaki Shishido,Rikio Settai,Dai Aoki,Shugo Ikeda,H. Nakawaki,Noriko Nakamura,Tomoya Iizuka,Yoshihiko Inada,Kiyohiro Sugiyama,Tetsuya Takeuchi,K. Kindo,Tatsuo C. Kobayashi,Yoshinori Haga,Hisatomo Harima,Yuji Aoki,Takahiro Namiki,Hideyuki Sato,Yoshichika Onuki,Yoshichika Onuki +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the surface properties of LaRhIn 5 and CeTIn 5 (T: Co, Rh and Ir) were studied via the de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) experiment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quasi-two-dimensional Fermi surfaces and the de Haas-van Alphen oscillation in both the normal and superconducting mixed states of CeCoIn5
Rikio Settai,Hiroaki Shishido,Shugo Ikeda,Y Murakawa,Miho Nakashima,Dai Aoki,Yoshinori Haga,Hisatomo Harima,Yoshichika Onuki +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) oscillation was observed in both the normal and superconducting mixed states of a heavy-fermion superconductor CeCoIn5.
Journal ArticleDOI
Review of U-based Ferromagnetic Superconductors: Comparison between UGe2, URhGe, and UCoGe
TL;DR: The discovery in 2000 that the ferromagnetic (FM) compound UGe2 (TCurie = 52 K at ambient pressure) becomes superconducting under a pressure of P = 1.1 GPa until it enters the paramagnetic (PM) pha...
Journal ArticleDOI
Evidence of strong correlations and coherence-incoherence crossover in the iron pnictide superconductor KFe2As2.
Frédéric Hardy,Anna E. Böhmer,Dai Aoki,P. Burger,T. Wolf,Peter Schweiss,Rolf Heid,Peter Adelmann,Yongxin Yao,Gabriel Kotliar,Joerg Schmalian,Christoph Meingast +11 more
TL;DR: Both the Sommerfeld coefficient and the Pauli susceptibility are strongly enhanced, which confirm the existence of heavy quasiparticles inferred from previous de Haas-van Alphen and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy experiments.
