Accelerated waning of immune responses to a third COVID-19 vaccination in patients with immune-mediated inflammatory diseases
Daniel Mrak,Felix Kartnig,Daniela Sieghart,Elisabeth Simader,Helga Radner,Peter Mandl,Lisa Göschl,Philipp Hofer,Thomas Deimel,Irina Gessl,Renate Kain,Stefan Winkler,Josef S Smolen,Thomas Perkmann,Helmuth Haslacher,Daniel Aletaha,Leonhard X. Heinz,Michael Bonelli +17 more
TL;DR: In this article , the Elecsys anti-SARS-CoV-2 Spike immunoassay against the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the spike protein was used.
Journal ArticleDOI
Response to: 'Correspondence on 'Role of joint damage, malalignment and inflammation in articular tenderness in rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and osteoarthritis'' by Dumoulin et al.
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of Dumoulin et al. showed that tenderness in non-swollen joints should be considered as a symptom of inflammation in early rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA).

Claudia Oppenauer,Martina Durechova,Michael Zauner,Martin Posch,Susanne Urach,Klaus P Machold,Daniel Aletaha,Ricardo J O Ferreira,Tanja Stamm +8 more
TL;DR: To explore if achieving T2T biological remission and individual patient treatment goals overlap in RA patients with initially low, moderate, or high disease activity, a consecutive convenience sample of patients with RA diagnosed according to ACR/EULAR criteria and with LDA, MDA, or HDA was recruited.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of combined deficiency of interleukin-1 and -6 versus single deficiencies in TNF-mediated arthritis and systemic bone loss
Silvia Hayer,Birgit Niederreiter,M Kalkgruber,Konrad Wanic,Julia Maißner,Josef S Smolen,Daniel Aletaha,Stephan Blüml,Kurt Redlich +8 more
TL;DR: Combined deficiency of IL-1/IL-6 markedly ameliorated TNF-mediated arthritis and bilateral sacroiliitis, but without additive benefits compared to single IL- 1 deficiency, and points to a discrepancy of cytokine dependency in local and systemic T NF-driven mechanisms of inflammatory arthritis.
