Impact of fish farming on the distribution of phosphorus in sediments in the middle Adriatic area.

TL;DR: The authors' results indicated that authigenic apatite phosphorus showed no significant differences among the investigated stations, while organic phosphorus concentrations reflected the trophic status of the station area, and fish debris phosphorus proved to be the most sensitive indicator of the influence of fish farming on marine sediment.

Potential Implications of Sea-Level Rise for Croatia

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of assumed 20-and 86-cm sea-level rises on the coastal area are assessed by expert judgement, showing that some important sites, such as historical town centres, the alluvial plain of the Neretva River and Vrana Lake on the island of Cres would be seriously endangered.
