Dynamics of Current, Charge and Mass

TL;DR: In this article, the Bohm formulation of quantum mechanics allows easy definition of current, and the conservation of current can be derived without mention of the polarization or dielectric properties of matter.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quantum wave processing

TL;DR: It is suggested that once quantum computation utilizes analog, parallel computation, then there is little advantage in projecting the quantum computation onto the pseudo-binary construct of a qubit, and it becomes more effective to seek the equivalent wave processing that is inherent in the analog, Parallel processing.
Book ChapterDOI

Transport in Nanostructures: Transmission in nanostructures

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors introduced the idea of low-dimensional systems arising from quantum confinement and showed that the quantum effects enter only through the description of the basis states arising from the confinement, and the quantum mechanical transition rates between these states are due to the scattering potential.
