Journal ArticleDOI

Eddington-limited Accretion and the Black Hole Mass Function at Redshift 6

TL;DR: In this paper, a quasar in the Canada-France High-z Quasar Survey (CFHQS) at redshift z = 6.44 was found to have a strong correlation between Mg II FWHM and UV luminosity and that most quasars at this early epoch are accreting close to the Eddington limit.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hubble Space Telescope Imaging of the CFRS and LDSS Redshift Surveys. I. Morphological Properties

TL;DR: In this article, a complete sample of 341 galaxies drawn from the CFRS and LDSS ground-based redshift surveys is analyzed and each galaxy has been morphologically classified according to a scheme similar to that developed for the Medium Deep Survey.
