Journal ArticleDOI

A highly selective fluorescence turn-on sensor for cysteine/homocysteine and its application in bioimaging.

TL;DR: In this article, a highly electron-deficient system was used as a turn-on fluorescence sensor for intracellular imaging of Cys/Hcy in biological samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tuning the triplet energy levels of pyrazolone ligands to match the 5D0 level of europium(III).

TL;DR: The results show that the modification of ligands tunes the triplet energy levels of three pyrazolone-based ligands to match the 5D0 energy level of Eu3+ properly and improves the energy transfer efficiency from antenna to EU3+, therefore enhancing the Eu(III) emission intensity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel Y-type two-photon active fluorophore: synthesis and application in fluorescent sensor for cysteine and homocysteine

TL;DR: In this paper, a Y-shaped two-photon active material FD3 based on the imidazole core has been synthesized and exhibited intense 2P excited fluorescence with 2P absorption cross-section of more than 9000 GM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly selective colorimetric sensor for cysteine and homocysteine based on azo derivatives

TL;DR: A simple colorimetric method for the determination of cysteine and homocysteine has been developed that could be observed by naked eyes and is selective and sensitive for cysteines detection without the interference of other amino acids.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polyaryl Ether Dendrimer with a 4-Phenylacetyl-5-pyrazolone-based Terbium(III) Complex as Core: Synthesis and Photopysical Properties

TL;DR: Measurements of the triplet state and oxygen quenching of these dendritic complexes verify that this enhancement of the energy transfer (phi(transfer)) is attributed to both an "antenna effect" and a "shell effect".
