Journal ArticleDOI
Cu(II)‐incorporated, histidine‐containing, magnetic‐metal‐complexing beads as specific sorbents for the metal chelate affinity of albumin
TL;DR: In this article, N-Methacryloyl-(L)-histidine methyl ester (MAH) was synthesized from metharyloyl chloride and histidine.
Journal ArticleDOI
Poly(hydroxyethyl methacrylate) nanobeads containing imidazole groups for removal of Cu(II) ions
TL;DR: In this article, a poly(hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA) nanobeads with an average size of 300nm in diameter and with a polydispersity index of 1.156 were produced by a surfactant free emulsion polymerization.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of cholesterol imprinted polymeric particles.
TL;DR: MIP particles prepared using higher amounts of cholesterol exhibit significantly higher capacity to the NIP particles (i.e., control polymer) and reusability of MIP particles was also investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Plastic antibody based surface plasmon resonance nanosensors for selective atrazine detection
TL;DR: A surface plasmon resonance (SPR) based affinity sensor system with the use of molecular imprinted nanoparticles (plastic antibodies) to enhance the pesticide detection showed that the imprinted nanosensor has high selectivity and sensitivity for atrazine.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of tentacle-type magnetic beads as immobilized metal-chelate affinity support for cytochrome c adsorption.
TL;DR: Results suggest that chemisorption processes could be the rate-limiting step in the adsorption process and two kinetic models including pseudo-first order and pseudo-second order model was estimated on the basis of comparative analysis of the corresponding rate parameters, equilibrium capacity and correlation coefficients.
